MEET ANA | WEST HOLLYWOOD HAIRCUT SPECIALIST
A Haircut Should Still Feel Good Weeks Later
I take the time to understand your texture, density, styling routine and how much maintenance feels realistic for you.
My approach combines precision cutting with strategic weight removal to create movement without leaving the hair bulky, overly layered or thinner than intended.
Many clients who previously scheduled one haircut a year begin returning every two to three months—not because they have to, but because they love how their hair feels and how beautifully the shape grows out.
Meet Ana Salinas, a West Hollywood hairstylist specializing in razor cuts, precision bobs, pixies, curly hair and long layers. Ana shares her personalized approach to creating haircuts with beautiful movement, balanced weight removal and a shape that continues to feel good as it grows.
Razor-Cut Bob
Precision razor cutting removes excess weight and creates soft texture, natural movement and a sharp bob that feels light—not bulky.
Long Layers & Blowout
Customized long layers preserve length while adding shape, volume and movement, finished with a soft, bouncy blowout that brings every layer to life.
Lob With Curtain Fringe
Soft layers, face-framing and a long curtain fringe give this customized lob natural movement, flattering dimension and an effortless modern shape.
PERSONALIZED CONSULTATION
Your texture, lifestyle and goals guide every decision.
CUSTOMIZED HAIRCUT
Precision or razor-cutting techniques are selected for your individual hair.
DEEP-CONDITIONING ADD-ON
Added hydration and softness for hair that feels as beautiful as it looks.
THE SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE
A Haircut Designed to Look Good—and Feel Even Better
A beautiful haircut begins with understanding your hair. We’ll talk about your texture, density, styling routine, maintenance preferences and how you want your hair to feel before creating a shape customized specifically for you.
Add a deep-conditioning treatment to your haircut for an extra boost of hydration, softness and shine. It’s an ideal addition for dry, color-treated, curly or heat-styled hair—and the perfect way to give your new haircut a fresh start.
Select the deep-conditioning treatment as an add-on when booking.
THE EDUCATION BEHIND THE CUT
Technical Training. An Individual Eye.
My advanced haircut education includes razor-cutting and haircutting classes through Sally Rogerson Education, along with a technical foundation influenced by educators trained in Vidal Sassoon’s precision-cutting methods.
That education allows me to combine structure with softness—creating sharp bobs that don’t feel bulky, pixies with balance, long layers that preserve length and customized shapes that work with your natural texture.
I don’t believe in copying the same haircut onto every client. The technique should always serve the person sitting in my chair.
CLIENT EXPERIENCES
Why Clients Return for Their Haircuts
A great haircut should continue to feel good long after you leave the salon.

HAIRCUT FAQs
-
Most medium-length and long haircuts benefit from maintenance every 8–12 weeks. Short cuts, pixies and highly structured bobs may need reshaping every 4–8 weeks. We can determine the best schedule based on your haircut, growth and desired level of maintenance.
-
Absolutely. Long layers, face-framing and strategic weight removal can create movement and shape without sacrificing the length you love. We’ll discuss exactly how much you’re comfortable removing before we begin.
-
A razor can create softness, movement and beautifully blended texture while removing unnecessary weight. I use the razor strategically based on your hair’s texture, density, condition and the desired result—it isn’t automatically used on every client.
-
Yes. Curly haircuts are customized around your curl pattern, density, shrinkage, styling routine and how you normally wear your hair. The goal is a balanced shape that works with your natural movement.

Every appointment begins with a consultation. We’ll consider your hair texture, density, face-framing preferences, lifestyle, maintenance routine and inspiration photos before deciding on the final shape.

Yes. A deep-conditioning treatment can be added to your haircut for additional hydration, softness and shine. It is especially helpful for dry, color-treated, curly or frequently heat-styled hair.
